Many podcasts, online tools, and beginner-friendly books exist to assist you in becoming more adept in te reo Māori.

This website is a valuable resource for looking up te reo Māori word meanings, checking spellings, and macron placement. It not only provides definitions but also offers examples of using words and phrases in context. Additionally, the website has pronunciation audio for all the words, making it easier to learn the correct pronunciation.

Each episode of the show includes relevant activities and exercises that help people practice and develop their language skills. In every block of five episodes, viewers learn vocabulary related to a specific theme and a small number of sentence structures. Te Wānaga o Aotearoa

Te Wānanga o Aotearoa's podcast boasts an extensive library of episodes, each thoroughly exploring topics related to tikanga, kupu, kīwaha (expressions), whakataukī/whakatauākī (proverbs), iwi-specific kōrero, waiata (songs), and various other subjects. With episodes lasting approximately 45 minutes, the content is presented in a blend of English and Te Reo Māori. Each installment offers fresh insights, and the hosts and guest speakers bring forth a rich reservoir of knowledge to share with the audience.
